The Old Shire Barn is a beautifully converted farm building in Norton village near Faversham in Kent. Awarded Customers' Choice every year from 2022 to 2026 this is no ordinary barn conversion. Original beamed ceilings exposed stone walls hand-crafted finishes and boutique styling make this place genuinely special. A double-sided wood burner sits at the heart of the living space.

Set in the Kent countryside surrounded by apple pear and cherry orchards the setting is peaceful and rural. Two friendly pubs are within walking distance. The George is just a 5-minute walk away. Circular countryside walks start from the door and dogs are welcome in both pubs.

Sleeping 8 across 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a ground floor double with rustic beamed walls.

Bedroom 2 is a galleried family suite with two singles and a double on a mezzanine level plus a PlayStation 4. Bedroom 3 is a double accessed via open-tread stairs with limited headroom. Two bathrooms include a freestanding slipper bath and walk-in shower.

Faversham is 15 minutes by car. Canterbury and Whitstable are both within 30 minutes. The private hot tub and enclosed garden with Kadai firepit and covered gazebo make this ideal year-round.
