The estate sits perfectly between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Windermere and Bowness are to the west. Sedbergh Dent and Ullswater are all within easy reach. Kendal town with its castle shops pubs and cafes is just 5 miles away. Walks and cycle routes for all abilities start nearby.

Low Jock Scar Country Estate is a four-cottage country estate set in 6½ acres of woodland and grounds near Kendal in Cumbria. The estate sleeps up to 18 guests across four separate properties making it one of the best setups for large group holidays in the Lake District gateway area. Wildlife including deer woodpeckers and hares roam the grounds regularly.

The estate sits perfectly between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Windermere and Bowness are to the west. Sedbergh Dent and Ullswater are all within easy reach. Kendal town with its castle shops pubs and cafes is just 5 miles away. Walks and cycle routes for all abilities start nearby.

Four cottages make up the estate. Riverside Cottage sleeps 8 and acts as the group hub with a large conservatory and a private hot tub by the beck. Butterfly Cottage sleeps 6 and has its own hot tub. Lily Cottage and Tulip Cottage each sleep 2. Nine bedrooms and 8 bathrooms total across the estate.

Kendal Castle is 5 miles away. Windermere is roughly 12 miles west. Ullswater is under an hour's drive. The market town of Sedbergh is close to the east.

Annexe 1 and Annexe 2 are entirely on the ground floor making them more accessible for guests with limited mobility. Annexe 2 also has a grab rail fitted in the bathroom. Please note there are steps and a beck in the grounds.

A cot is available in both Butterfly Cottage and Lily Cottage. A highchair is also available in Butterfly Cottage. These must be requested in advance so please confirm when booking.
